Seattle Seahawks - VMAC Survey Services

After successful completion of our Safeco Field Survey, the Mariners grounds staff recommended our services to the Seattle Seahawks when the need arose to begin the process of renovating their practice fields on Lake Washington. Sitts & Hill completed a high-definition laser scan of the existing field surface at The Virginia Mason Athletic Center to identify areas of settlement and match points for the eventual design and construction of a new playing surface. Exhibits were provided to the Seahawks’ grounds crew showing a “heat map” of inconsistencies on the existing playing surface, which had proved to be a valuable tool during our Safeco Field eff ort. Our services were provided on an aggressive schedule during early season back to back.
